i ordered mine on 17th march---dispatch day 7th april, well were into april now, hopefully only a week to wait!! or-----hopefully 'again' they will arrive sooner!! chris. |

I ordered a marriage certificate on the 8th March and am still waiting, didn't make a note of the estimated despatch date unfortunately. I've heard it said the delays have been caused by a change in the passport laws, but this shouldn't be so - an article in April's Family History Monthly magazine says that the GRO, whenever there is an increase in demand, take on extra staff to avoid the delays for customers |

I ordered my Certs on 2nd & 3rd of March and i have received them 23rd & 24th. Just waiting for others to come now but they should be coming slowly but surely- hoepfully they might be catching up now |

I ordered one birth, marriage & death certs on the 3rd March........was hoping it would come today as the weather is horrible just right to get on with my tree................BUT nothing! Have to scrape around for titbits now!! |

Can I add my tale of woe. Certificate arrived 4 days late - not too bad - only problem is its not the one I ordered. I ordered a death certificate for Bermondsey and got Battersea. Now Ive got to wait for a reply to my email. Fingers crossed. Jean |
