Merry was offering a shoe maker for a lighterman this morning? But I think she has more than her required quantity of ag labs. I want one of her posh rellies - the ones who marry rich old men or who get the VC. |

Isnt that just as good - or was he just a Master of Ceremonies at weddings - a disco dj or something? |

Yes I suppose it would Merry - perish the thought. 2 MCs for a tablecloth stenciller? Ahh, I see you dont have a Marsh Looker then - huh! Well he was a Marsh Looker down in Sussex by the coast. I harboured (no pun) thoughts of a dashing customs man shooting smugglers - erm, its a shepherd watching out for animals drowning in the marshes. Or I could do a 'featherer' from the East End (hubby reckons that was something to do with 19th Century porn films but it was actually millinery). |

How come you lot get all the interesting folk and mine are all soooooooooo boring? never mistranscribed ,., always where you expect them to be, with the right children, no scandal, no filth, no skellies........ ........just a ploughed field in the middle of nowhere |

But expertly ploughed, I have no doubt! Merry |

Well at least they sounded content - didnt spend their time throwing themselves off benches and such, like my b***** Hansons. If they werent making cabinets they were jumping off them. Tide waiters - shouldnt they know when the rotten tide was coming in? Sounds like a scam for overtime to me. |

LOL Should we give them a points rating for rarity? Ag Lab = 1 point Urinal Cleaner 10 points Shoemaker 3 points Ah, but it would vary depending on where they lived...... Merry |

I honestly dont think a shoemaker merits 3 points Merry. ( I can see how your ancestors all managed to make good!) probably like your tide waiters. |

You can have my Dutch shoemaker turned undertaker, he's free to a loving (or unloving) home. He must have rarity value surely? I'm getting sick of him and his loose-moralled daughter lol |
