Thanks Christine. The didn't get back to me but it seems better today, darn, should get back to THAT assignments but having a total memory block at the moment and lacking inspiration. Should go and say 'hello' to the boyfriend... |

Response received from GR 'Thanks for bringing this to our attention. This problem has now been resolved and will work correctly if you would like to try again. Please let me know if you require further assistance' |

I'm getting them, too, even though Pop Up Blocker is supposed to be on. I thought I had a virus of some sort on the PC! Glad to see it's not just me...very, very irritating... |

YES ! Message from another member advised when I opened my e-mail In-box. Totally obscured by a pop-up. They are all over the screen now, above the GR green screen and down the side - all sem to be connected to ITV. We don't need them !!! Had the same respons. They have eliminated them and now they are replaced by Emotions pop-ups - HIGHLY DANGEROUS SPYWARE> |

I have always logged on to the co uk url and fortunately haven't seen the pop-ups described. I use Firefox with pop-up blocker turned on. I also have all-in-one secretaker running in the background which has a block ads and block pop-ups option as well. |

Hooray!! I've had no popups for at least 20 mins (could they have gone??). I'm also doing a degree -have an assignment that should be due in Mid May - but finally made the decision to ask for a deferral and not submit it till next May (daren't tell the Uni the reason why I won't finish it). My husband also thinks I am working on my degree and I flit between 2 screens so he doesn't know). Just wait till he gets the bank statement and sees all the certs I've ordered!!! |

I've also emailed GR to complain. Hopefully they will sort it out. Next time you get one, take a note of which www address sent it and tell GR. |

Well good luck Christine, you're obviously doing better than me as I am half way through mine, I'm bored stiff and it finishes in June but got so much work to do. Tedious, tedious.. would much prefer to be doing this too. Having to flit between the two screens so that my boyfriend doing suss onto my skiving habits as he keeps nagging me! Lol. |

Yes and they are b******* annoying my pop up blocker is not even blocking them and they are not closing when clicking on the cross. I thought I had a virus but my virus checker said I was clear. Hope someone sorts it out and gets it stopped. |

6th year of Open University - enjoying it, but finding this much more fun! Now, if the whole degree was in family research .......... |
