Yes I actually think its all correct. It took me ages to find the page with Martha Harland listed in the same group as David Wood. I can't wait till I'm as expert as you all. Thankyou all again xTracyx |

Tracy, it was a fairly straight forward one once you looked for the birth of the eldest child and worked back a bit (this isnt always the case, sometimes they dont marry for years or at all). If you are lucky like this one to find one of them on freebmd then you just click on the page no next to them and it brings up all the other people with that reference. Again, you were lucky in only one of the brides had the right first name. Hi Helen - hadnt bothered to check further for David J until Tracey came back with the reason for looking for a David J! |

Hi to all who helped me here. And good news researching Martha brought out that when she was 3 the head of house had the mother in law living there too. That saves so much searching for Martha's mother's maiden name. Can i just add! I've had a traumatic expensive 2 hrs. I was cutting a piece of dirt off the rabbit and i accidently cut one of his private parts!! £57.85 emergency vet bill but all is well now Tracy (very embarrased) |

Aaagh, poor bunny. hope he gets better soon and you haven't spoiled his fun! I did something similar to the guinea pig a while back, she's long haired and has to be trimmed regularly or gets all matted. You feel so guilty don't you? Glad you spotted mum-in-law, I'd seen her on the 1871 too and was hoping you'd get there. Good luck with your research, you have plenty of new names to go at now. Should keep you busy for a while. |
