Hi - Just popping back in because Carol asked me earlier to give you today's SLP update. I've noticed that the article for today's edition has been added to their website, so if any of you would like to read it I'll give you the address again to save you having to search for it: remove brackets... http://icsouthlondon.icnetwork[.]co[.]uk/ As I mentioned earlier, there will be a third and probably last update in their Tuesday edition (newspaper is twice-weekly). I think you have all been wonderfully supportive and caring members of GR - thanks for all your good wishes - I don't feel I did very much, just a bit of Miss Marpling LOL and a phone call. Still it was nice to know so many of you were behind me to give a bit of moral support. Nite all - I'm going to try to catch some sleep. Been a hectic day! xx |

For those who were following this story, just thought I would let you all know of the final update in today's South London Press. The article, by Robert Dex, begins by referring to the original article and how Carol encouraged us on Genes to try to find out what happened to Herta. It then covers the final stage of the mystery - the finding of Heinz Boley - and mentions my telephone call to New York etc. The article is now on their website if you'd like to read it. If anyone wants to PM me their email address I can send you a scanned copy of the article, if you like. It's a lovely ending to a very poignant and heartfelt story. |
