I deliberately picked a few less common names,if you name search 'Elmer' born Norfolk on here you will find a good few in my tree, same with 'Pogson' born Horncastle. The world tree thingy is the ancestry world tree,FTM is linked to ancestry. There are some names in my tree that also link to a world tree, and a site from 2002 full of pop ups.Over 1500 families in that tree and no way of seeing where the link is to my Hay family, but no Elmer or Pogson references. Hi Heather, I'm planning to have my own website later this year using my Family Historian software, so that my cousins can keep up with my research. The counter is a good idea. Thank you. Rachelxx |

Well good luck. I dont think FTM is the most brilliant in the world, Ive seen some lovely ones when Ive trawled perhaps yours will be more flexible. |

I think it will be much the same. I've seen an example of a website created by Family Historian and it does look a bit basic. I guess if you want a professional looking website then it will cost a lot of money. |
