mine went really small first when I altered the resolution then I clicked view and altered the text size, I'm not going to fiddle with it again lol. |

how dumb am i eldest said just just hold down ctrl button and using mouse upand down scroll to get size doh and double doh lol karen whos going out in sunshine but thanks for the replies. |

No the resolution thing doesnt go left to right, that must be the monitor control? Just looked again, go to start, control panel, appearance, settings and there is a scale at the bottom left - that should show that your puter is on a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. |

If that doesnt help, what happened to me yesterday was I collected my pc from the repairer. When I got home I couldnt find the start button at the bottom nor the little tray on the right. I rang him up and he said go to appearance and there is a sort of scale thing for resolution - it was set on the highest something like 1200 x 900 or something, he told me to pull it down to 1020 or something?? and then the screen fitted on the puter. |
