Hi Mike I will be in Leicester in late September 2007 and would like to spend a couple of days hunting for records of my Timson relations. They originated in Higham on the Hill (1700's) moved to Burbage then to Leicester (mid 1840's), have you any idea of where the parish records are likely to be? Greeting’s Again. …… Ken O’ NZ. I think you will find it better if you go to the Records Office in Wigston. Seeing you need to look at three Parishes. Having said that I see you are due over here in September ? This is the time that the Records Office closes for stock taking usually the 1st week & reopens 2nd week. But I’ll check both for availability of records & dates of the stock take for this year…….. and get back to you A.S.A.P. MIKE.
