I can't get any further bk than Benjamin Jones b 1874 Stanton Hill Notts He married a lady called Mrs Pretty Her parents lived at Middlecliffe Barnsley. I know the Children of Jones/Pretty.(5x Boys 3x Girls) I'm sure Benjamin Jones 1874 had 3 sibs and his father could have been called Solomon Jones b1841 from Bullwell Nottingham but that's all. I have tried searching but can't seem to get anywhere. Good Luck if you have time. Pamx

Pam , do you know when married? There is nothing coming up at all on any of the censuses for a Benjamin Jones born 1874 in Notts on the 81 91 01 nothing for Solomon for those dates either

Where is he?? In 1891 they are in Durham with 2 children John and Mary. In 1887 they were married in Scotland and his address was Keswick. Good luck OC&G

I have them in all the census but the 1941 one. details from 1951 The head is john stokes ,abt 1814 aged 37 His wife is Hananh Stokes,abt 1814 aged 37 they have 5 children and a son in law with them in hollow lane Hitchin. Some of the children were born ippollitts and the mum Hannah was born in wellingborough Northamptonshire. Thanks Tina

if you can help or tell me where and how to look,
my husbands father was walter john land born 1907 and was reg in yeovil volume 5c and page 331 was able to find that much out(have applied for his birth certificate,just waiting for that now)
i know his father was harry according to walters marriage cetificate,i can not fin any land family yet harry had about 10 children says my husband(he does not remember his grandfather at all)presume he died before he remembers.says harry was born bower hinton,my husban was born in martock somerset where he thought his father was born(its reg yeovil,which makes scence).is there a area i should be looking to find other land family,i didnt see others reg in yeovil that i known names.
some of harry children were,frank,bert,doanld(donald immergrated to canada with wife),syd,nell,dont remember grandmothers name,but sure burried at martock,any help for lookups please
