To the members who have helped in this quest Particularly The Old Crone Holden. I have discovered all I need to find out including a phone call to the present owners of the house near Crowan of William Watters. The owner is a teacher at the school in the village where my my gggrandfather was married in 1845. I am so grateful to members for their willingness to share knowledge and in OC's case, go to the area to search for an answer. Thanks again Chris |
