I think the surname is Heale... and then I think it says sojourner, ... rather than an actual name of a place.
Incidently, did you notice there is a Betsy Bendle on the same record? ( 129)

Thank you KathleenBell, Gwyn in Kent and greyghost for confirming the details.
Gwyn - I didn't notice about Betsy Bendle. I don't have Ancestry and I went to the libary to use Ancestry on their computer. I am actually just starting to research the name Bendle/Bendal, so Betsy may well be an ancestor.
I do have Findmypast and will go and see if she is on there. Though please could you let me have the details of her, just in case I can't find her on Findmy past.

Thanks Greyghost. I do have FMP and have seen that, but they don't have the image like Ancestry does. I notice that FMP has Joanna living at Ashwick, the same as John. I didn't print the image out at the library, but from memory the image looks nothing like Ashwick does it? From what you say and others above, its sojourner.

There was more than one Clement (or Clemens) Norman in Ashwick area.
Possible death of the one who married Betsy - just going by year ???
Clement Norman in the Somerset, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1531-1812 Name Clement Norman [Clemens Norman] Event Type Burial Burial Date 17 Mar 1788 Burial Place Ashwick, Somerset, England Parish as it Appears Ashwick
In the "age" column it says "+P" - as it does for several others on that and other pages. Some just say +, and some x - which may be the same but written carelessly. I've no idea what it means. The age column is left blank for everyone else - no actual ages entered.
There were also a number of women named Betty/Betsy Norman in the area over the years.
