Re Beatrice Winifred in 1939 - yes, I didn't notice the small ditto mark standing for her original surname of Ward.

Yes the Lara marriage is my uncle, so I assume her marriage to George bishop ended in divorce, and they had no kids. That’s very interesting about he4 maybe being adopted

Can’t see Beatrice (1906) on 1921 census

I'd say there is at least one child (a girl) from the Bishop marriage. It was in Ilford (where the marriage took place) in 1945.
