I have come across a headache... My grand fathers Frank Gibson 1889 one brother George James Gibson 1884 Have their and siblings catholic birth certs All Born in Liverpool
I heard a few years back George was married to a "Laura" though never found a marriage , in a search a while ago I found him on a 1910 census in USA with his son No Laura... I had his son believed same name being born in 1905 ?
Well during a search yesterday I came across a George Gibson marrying a Laura in Ontario Canada on the wedding cert i names his Parents Joseph Gibson and Sarah Daley as his parents They are ) BUT wedding is in 1931 says he is thirty two makes his birth 1899 cant find a birth for this age ( in case George 1844 had passed and another son was named in his place later in 1899 ?)can not be the son as not his parents on cert so confused

He has a brother whom moved tto Canada James Joseph Gibson born 1884 Liverpool has a Brother in Pierce Washington USA Joseph Gibson 1879 Weding cert has become an Headache !!!

Joseph Gibson and Sara Daly had a son called George Gibson, no second name recorded, baptised at St Anthony, Liverpool, on 21st May 1892, born 9th March 1892.

The GRO site has birth of George Gibson, mmn Daly registered J qtr 1892 West Derby 08b 346

The birth indexes on the GRO site record mmn , unlike Freebmd, which only does this from 1911 onwards. It can be useful to trawl for 'missing' children who were born and died between censuses; the 1911 census may show that some of the children in a family had died, for instance.

A Joseph and Sara Gibson had a son baptised 1884 at St Anthony, but that Sara was maiden name JOYSON, and the child was Gulielmus Jacobus Gibson, ie WILLIAM James, born 14th July 1884, bap 25 th Aug 1884.

Perhaps he lied about his age at marriage. Laura was born c1902:

I don't have access to Canada records, but if you look up Laura's entry in the marriage index to identify her parents, you could try and identify her birth using the free site below:

EDIT, Just realised the census Argyllgran posted earlier, said Laura was born in England of Irish parents. If you can get both of her parents from the Canada marriage index, check the GRO site for Laura's birth in England as you can use mmn to verify, on that site.

If you have the names of both Laura's parents from the Canada marriage index, you can also look for their marriage in England on Freebmd or the sites you have access to, or the Irish site posted earlier in this post, if they married in Ireland and came to England as a couple.

I don't understand "on the above had gone ahead with first info you gave" .

The 1895 Belfast birth record that Argyllgran posted at 12:53 ties in very well with the names of Laura's parents from the marriage register in the same post.

Maddie has already found and posted the marriage of Laura's parents, and the family in 1901 and 1911, in the Irish census.
