The person I am seeking information on is Ada Whitaker who was 48yrs old when she married Walter James Offord in 1955. Walter was a press operator Motor Works he lived 46 Sheriff Avenue Canley Coventry, his father was also a Walter James Offord deceased, who was a motor tester .
On marriage in1955 at Coventry register office the certificate states her previous marriage was dissolved .
Her birth name was Ada Lissaman, her father was William Henry Lissaman deceased he was a motor fitter.
At the time of her marriage to Walter Ada lived 6 Wright Street Coventry. She worked as a capstan lathe operator at the Telephone works. They were
married in presence of M.R.Whitaker, K.J.Corington, C Bartlem

ErikaH used this free website to post the possible marriage for Irene. There are other marriages, but this one is in the Coventry RD where the family seem to have been based

Getting a copy of the marriage certificate would tell you who her Father was to make sure it's the Irene you're wanting information about.

No obvious children to the marriage, although there are births in other areas.

A copy of her birth certificate would give you an actual DOB which might help find her listed on the 1939 register or to find a death
