Sorry but as already been stated, there is no way to know when he left Ireland to come to Liverpool.

??? Perhaps Gambin should read Gamble which would make the 1911 census correct.

The snag is - the man who married in 1911 and was father to the nine children is on 1939 census with a DOB of 18/12/1879. He is incapacitated

As ErikaH says, there were no records of travel between Ireland and England, but finding him in 1901 c age 14/15 may help narrow down the time frame for you.

What are all the details from the 1910 marriage certificate

If you have his birth certificate, what are the details from that

If he can be found in the 1901 census at age c15 then more clues might help.

Did he come to England with family,
