Hi - how on here can you work out which kids belong to which parents when a pair of brothers marry a pair of sisters? |

When a pair of brothers marry a pair of sisters, you'll just have to buy the birth certs of the children, unless you can figure it out from which children are with which parents in later censuses. |

If it's not too recent, do you want to put some names, dates, areas on here and helpers will have a look to see if it can be worked out. |

I have my great grandfather’s sisters called Broughton who married a pair of brothers called Redford in 1910 and 1912. I’ve searched for children called Redford with Broughton in the keyword and get half a dozen hits within a decent time frame and location but can’t link them to one or other married couple. |

Both men may have served in ww1 and if their service records have survived they may name children for each couple |

So Victor and Stanley both definitely belong to Rose and Sidney! And it looks like only Victor and Stanley - so do all or any of the others belong to Phoebe? |
