When your dad married did he give his fathers name and was he annotated as deceased

Maybe the witnesses were family

Was he brought up by his parents or others

Who was the informant on the birth cert

Maybe Kate was what she was called but not her actual Christian name


For instance my paternal gran was Emma anne . She married twice having been widowed and the first two children she had with her second hubby he registered the births , He gave mums name as Annie because that was what he called her !

It may be that the parents didn't actually marry - the registrar wouldn't question their relationship when the birth was registered

will have to get a copy of my mum and dads marriage certificate to find out. They married in 1967 in st Austell registry office in Cornwall. His name was Brian Wilson and my mum was Patricia Gwendoline Jenine Caldwell.
