Started thread already got no further Frank Robert Grieve born 1900 ,went to new york in 1923 .then on to Quebec/ Montreal in 1960 census. Married to Lola Clark grieve ,Can anyone find out if he had children? Will be deceased now is there a death certificate somewhere.this was my father's dad who he never met ? |

Are you sure that he was born in Montreal? Most records say he was born in Scotland. |

If this is his arrival in Canada he says he was born St. Andrews, Scotland, lists his mother as Mary Ann Grieve, Kilrenny, Anstruther, Fife. Says he's going to join friend Mr. J. Currellay, Munro, Ontario. |

On this arrival 1923, New York, he also lists mother as Mrs. Mary Ann Grieve, Blue Stone House, Crail, Fife. Says he's going to join cousin John Brown, 319 E. 86th. St., New York. |
