I think this might be the couple who married in 1876, going by the ages for the couple in the 1876 marriage that I posted, with the bride aged 19, and the groom aged 22, in 1876. |

Just to confirm that a Jessie Charles with a father named John Charles (as per the 1876 marriage) was born in Birmingham c1857/58 as per the census for 1881 that I posted (not for the Jessie of the couple that Margaret M posted that seem a bit older). |

Margaret - it's only the ages of 'my' couple taken from the 1876 marriage that helped me identify an alternate couple to yours, without that info either of our couples could have been equally viable, that's why I queried it with Beryl to see if she had anything further to help distinguish between them. |

Not sure if this is your two Jessies in 1901 or not. Jessie senior has gone back to being born in Birmingham: |

Sorry hope I am not confusing you but my Jessica Charles had a mother called Sarah and she went on to have a daughter called Jessie Gray.....does this help? |

Given that Jessie is a widow in 1901, and she was living in Islington in 1891 with her husband, and in 1901 with her mother SARAH Ellen, as I posted tentatively previously, this might be the death for husband Andrew: |

Kucinta think that could be the one it says Jessie is a widow could it be that Andrew Gray died if so when? Do you think that this is related to the first entry you put in of the marriage? |
