Don't think that can be correct one- they are both at the same address (10 Greenway) in 1930 (unless it's a mistake in the year on Ancestry, as I don't see them again until 1934?) |

Christine, do you have the marriage certificate of James to Ada Mary? Is he listed as widowed? |

James and Ada Mary had son 1924 in kent,he then stayed with Emily and married Ada Mary 1934 is that what happened? |

Thanks to you all, I have a clearer idea of events. James was married to Emily and had 4 children, he then went on to have five more children with Ada Williams only marrying her when Emily died, both events in the Dec quarter 1934. This ties in with the family story of a first wife who was catholic so could not divorce, though the earlier 4 children are a bit of a shock! A genesreunited member shares some of my family and has corroborated these facts. Thanks again for all your help |
