I just checked my link in opening post worked and it took me straight to site. Phew :-)

I've been working my way around the site, as with all new ventures.

I like how the Countries have been sorted into options for posting threads, although I'm sure where ever a member posts, I'm guessing it will be answered.

It's also FREE to join

Sounds like this is very similar (if not identical in set up) to Rootschat!

The groups are the chat forums of the site. Set up a group and chat. GRA forum is for asking the team a question or jumping in and helping if you wish or alternatively they can set up groups to discuss particular aspects of research interests. All of which is free.

If anyone wants to set up anything where a fee is chargeable then they need to contact the site administrators.

No, I mean groups that one is ""excluded"" from even viewing unless you ask and are given permission to join....if an exclisive "room" is wanted it can be set up on a private blog or facebook,seems a bit daft to set one up on an open help site.

The groups are set up by members and they have the ability to set the level as either public, closed or hidden.

Some may be discussing family history with other family members and so wish to only have family in the group.

Some want to encourage you to join their group but want to have an element of control over who can join to prevent spammers.

Just to let everyone know the Management of the site have had to disable the Forum due to a security issue with spammers.

When the problem is resolved I will post again.

While management are working to resolve the issue they have opened a group to

allow anyone who would like help with their research to access the team.

Please go the site and post on the GRA group.

Exactly the same as Rootschat, you post a genealogy question that you need help with and members help

Just an update folks.

The management regret to say that the site has been taken down but will be back soon.

I will post when we are back up and running.

Authentication is now required before accessing the site

As I posted the site is down only the Boss has access

The window that appears when you visit the site won't accept anyone's details.

When the problem is resolved I will post again.
