Jean ...............

some members have a very unfortunate habit of doing that.

I don't know whether they are ashamed of their opinions, are afraid that others may not share them, get a kick from telling people off in secret, or that others may tell them off on the thread.

My mind doesn't work that way!

I worry about the new or fairly new members who get a similar email complaining or telling off from these certain few, take it to heart, and no longer post.

Everything should be out in the open, except for obvious pms concerning privacy matters

Not too sure what has happened (re last couple of postings). But even us older members get told off!

About 18 months ago I asked posted a query and was told, that as I had been on here for such a long time I basically should know all about it!!!

Now like most of us on here, we occassionally read a thread title that is about something we have previously had no reason to either read the thread as the subject is not something we either (a) know nothing about or (b) is not of much interest to us. Then that thread will be passed over.

So when I was quite rudely told off, I just removed my thread. Went on to another forum page and was given the answer I needed. I was not looking for 'lookups' just a bit of advice.

So as said, it is not just newbies who get into trouble........

Just catching up - I can't believe that someone has had the temerity to contact Jean in such a manner. How ridiculous!

I can only suppose that because Jacqueline is such a new member she isn't yet familiar with the etiquette. ;-)
