Just been reading a book by the amazing author Gervase Phinn who spent many years as a School inspector and said that some of the children he met had some interesting names. The names include things like Hadrian Wall and his father Walter Wall, Sunny Day,Holly Wood, Justin Finnerty, Annette Curtain, Theresa Green, Poppy Field, Innocent Bystander and a brother and sister called Sam and Ella. |

years ago when I worked at our local psychiatric hospital there was a nurse called Michael Hunt - one of the senior nurses was trying to find him when he walked past the office window - without thinking I called out "Mike **** has just gone past the window" which got the response "Well I've heard of throwing your voice, but that's just ridiculous" :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D |

I did notice that there were lots of Thomas Tulips over the years in that area ............ I think it was a generational name, father-son- etc, but like you, I couldn't find a female version of the name. |
