Are you sure about the spelling of Jennyfer? Its normally spelt Jennifer unless of course its a name taken from a census.

On the other hand there is a death recorded which matches with the birth under the surname of Bayliss in 2005.

My stepdaughter has done the same.............after two failed marriages, she's decided her birth name is the one she prefers.

Not seeing any Shaw/Bayliss births anywhere in England or Wales 1989 +/- 10

I don't think Mr Shaw has any involvement.............

Right - found a tentative connection to Peter.

Jennyfer may have married a Mr Mitton in 1986. Still can't find any Mitton/Bayliss children!
EDIT- scrub that if Reggie is right to say there are no SHAW or MITTON connections

Do you know the name of the daughter? When and where was she born? Was Jennyfer married at the time, and did the father acknowledge paternity? If he did, his surname might be on her birth reg.

We also need to know why you wish to find the daughter

When Peter returns, perhaps he will give some more info..................without, one hopes, invading the young lady's privacy

We think that Jennyfer died in 2005. This is the death reg you need to order the certificate in the hope that it will confirm it is the correct person. The informant may be know to you.

The use of potential espousal surnames is vital when attempting to trace people, especially when we are working with limited information.

Might one remind the Reporter that most members who try to help are more than willing to edit posts if the Reporter believes them to breach the T&C. They only need to ask!

But those "reporters" wouldn't get their sad little kicks if they did that, would they DET?

Good find KenSE. Even if the divorce didn't go through, Peter is definitely a Widower. Buy the certificate and a copy of your marriage certificate if you don't have it. That should cover you.
