Yeah! although not entirely true. His wife's family were all Welsh, he was actually born in Staffordshire but he lived in Wales, married there and most of his kids were born there, except for those in America. Yes I've had a re-think on the 1910 find and agree with you. |

Yes, those 1890 records are gone. Great shame as they would have been invaluable for this and lots of other researches. |

Hi birth date was 9 Aug 1850 died 21 Dec 1903. He did return to Birmingham as his father was dying. I've not found him in 1890 as I was told those records were destroyed in fire! |

Lou, the Orphans dept in Philadelphia issued all marriage certificates, I believe! |

I haven't found Bessie's death and that was one of the marriage I found for her via the LDS site under 'Orphan marriages' which seemed to fit the bill as her father died in 1903. |

Lou, do you want to give her parents names and I'll see if I can find anything else? |

Gosh don't know what's happening to this page, but I've only just got your message asking for info relating to Bessie, so once again sorry about that. |

In addition to the birthplace I've put for Bessy above, the 1920 census indicates that her mother was born Penn but may be of German origin. |

They were definitely 2 different people, I've found them separately on the census. Just born a few months apart. Elmer EllSWORTH Henry married a Sally Weaver. |

Have deleted the baptism for Elmer EllsWORTH Henry as yours is Elmer EllWOOD Henry. |
