If you look at the census for 1911 that has been given to you It names a John and Leslie as her parents

To make sure it is correct, the marriage cert for Catherine would confirm her fathers name and possibly his occupation

Catherine A Phillips parents: John Phillips and ?

I've just had a chat with him on the 'phone about this, and he is pretty sure that Catherine A Phillips who was born in Bransgore, Christchurch, Hampshire is the correct family line... So, it seems her father was John Phillips, mother: Leslie (spelted without the y) maiden surname unknown at the moment... ?

I would like to know more about Catherine A Phillips parents... ? I have been told by my friend that her father had some high rank in the army, I think WW1 ? Catherine A Phillips married a person with the surname: Hislop.
