All those children appear as adults with Henry Richard Aldridge in the Midlands electoral rolls. |

You want the children to be William, George, Albert and Moira, in that birth order. |

YES ROY HE WAS ILLEGITIMATE ,AND HE WAS REGISTERED IN BIRMINGHAM ON THE 17/09/1902 , BUT ITHINK HE WAS ADOPTED VERTUALLY STRAIGHT AWAY. THE NAMES OF THE HALF BROTHERS AND SISTER THAT I HAVE BEEN GIVEN DO NOT TIE UP WITH THE NAMES IN THE HOUSE HOLDS THAT YOU HAVE SO KINDLY SUPPLIED. I HAVE LEARNED THAT MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS IN THE ARMED FORCES AND DIED AS A RESULT OF MUSTARD GAS POISONING AFTER THE FIRST WORLD WAR. BUT I'M NOT SURE IF HIS NAME WAS BEESELEY OR IF THAT WAS HIS MOTHERS MAIDEN NAME. I WILL CHECK HARRY ALDRIDGE OUT AS THIS MIGHT BE A LEAD.THANKS TO EVERY ONE |

Couldn't find Richard Aldridge in earlier census. He's very specific about birthplace on 1911 census so I thought first name/ age might differ. |

I doubt they married? as for adoption their was no legal adoption at that time so i think the children registered in mmn just adopted dads name over time |
