I was gone for 3 days - my laptop fried itself, so I had to get my old desktop out. Trouble was there's seven bits - the box itself, the monitor, 2 power cables for them, keyboard, mouse and an external drive, and they were in 5 difft locations. I knew roughly where the big 2 were, and my external drive was by the laptop, but it took a while to find the bits, and then it took literally hours updating the two y o software, and retrieving back-up data. Well, I'm OK now, so no worries.

I should have said 1940 on FS is not completely indexed - MA, MI, NJ, SC, TN are transcribed but not indexed yet - they should be available to search within the next 2 weeks. Also, there's no plans to do the overseas territories - AS, GU, CZ, PR, VI. All these missing bits are free on Ancestry.
