They married in 1897 !! so only 13 years

You don't need the cert as you do have his birth date and his parents names. It would be nice to have the birth cert but if its not available you do have his info .

Thanks for your replys... there were a few babies born to the Grices that died just after birth... indeed Augusta did a little bit after being christened.

I really feel like banging my head against a brick wall.. lol.... cannot go any further on my tree without a cert.

I just looked at baptisms on ancestry


a apparent sister Augusta was baptised within 3 weeks of her birth in 1897

This is him...Was also known as Albert Abraham Grice.... Have got the WW1 Records... also his marriage cert and death cert.

What I cant understand is that the record shows on Family org but no where else. This is definitly him as he was baptised in the church that his siblings all were.
