I've found a Charles Thorpe but I'm not sure whether it is the correct one. I can't make out the address. Again, i haven't figured out the connection yet.

Gwyn, Sorry I knew that there was an Anne Elizabeth but read it as Aunt too. There is also an Elizabeth Ann very close in years too, however for some reason, i didn't pick up on that. I've been sidetracked by these unknown people (who may be friends rather than relatives)

Ann, I've just found him on ancestry now that we have a date of birth, He was mistranscribed as Charles Jere Thorpe. Looks as though he was a draper. I'll have to look at who he is living with. He's down as a lodger.

Mel, I've found that quite a few of the siblings left a will. I started out with sending for Charlotte's first as i thought it would mention more people.

I sent away for another branch of the family at the same time but that was easier to read. From that one, I found out what happened to one of the daughters as it gave her married name :)

You do realise that when I send away for the others, you'll all be invited back to see what the others left lol Hopefully I'll find that one easier to read.

Have you got the sister Mary Susanna's marriage to William Lovell??

That says their father was Thomas Blunt and he signed as witness with C Blunt possibly Charlotte?? William was also a Draper. Good for Charlotte as she was a Dressmaker!

Yes Mel, I was lucky to find quite a few details on this family compared to some other parts of my tree, although there's probably more that I can find.

I'm not always very good at finding out the details, some people have the knack or are quite lucky.

However, I was lucky that many of these siblings seem to have left wills.

Charlotte was listed on one of the census records as Assistant Milliner to Lewis and Allenby.

Their father Thomas was head butler in Holkham Hall where he died and he was even mentioned in some of the correspondence there. I would love to visit Holkham and the Hall.

His wife Ann Gibson was listed as Gatekeeper there after he died, however after a while she moved away back to London but was buried with her husband in Holkham.

Elizabeth Ann (1807), Ann Elizabeth (1809) and Charlotte (1811) apparently were all born in Mortlake according to familysearch but I haven't been successful in tracking down the original baptisms yet. I thought it may give a few extra clues.

Their mother Ann Gibson born act 1788 was also born in Mortlake according to the census records.

Their father Thomas Blunt was born in 1774 but I don't know where. I think Thomas and Ann married on 20 October 1806 in St George, Hanover Square, Middlesex.

Hmm, I'm glad you mentioned that Mel, I've just been checking the Lovell marriage just to make sure that I had seen an original copy (which I do have) and I noticed the notes that i pasted underneath Mary Susanna Blunt which I'd completely forgotten about. Honestly, my memory is so poor I could be quite dangerous.

I was looking at who the Lovell money went to in 1905 & found that it went to Kate Whiteman who I'd never come across before. (I haven't got the will for her yet) Anyway Kate Whiteman seems to be the sister of Pricilla Monks who presumably are linked to the witnesses in this will.

Hmm, I'm going to have to dig out those notes look at the Whiteman and Monk connection in a bit more detail when I get a chance.
