GR don't need to apologise to me. There is nothing wrong with my tree. It's working just fine and I like it.

Maybe you should contact Support for advice.

I dont think they should Cynthia, but I and others would quite like one. Im bored now anyway, bye.

It seems to me that these updates and 'improvements' really, really should be TESTED properly before they are unleashed on the poor members.

My mixed-up tree seems to have put itself right but it's very slow to load and I really don't like the 'Ancestry' style sliding panels which hide the tree.

I would appreciate the chance to choose between the old or the new-style tree.

my tre is back very difficut to work still no use to me as my sceen reader will not work on details :-S :-S

My tree is now opening on IE ok and have just added some details which have gone in and saved :-)

This is ridiculous. I had found a new marriage. Start yo ad the children to the happy couple. Add son 1 and mark him as the son od Robert and Eliza. He comes up as son of Robert only but his grandmohers maiden name and census results belonging to his mother some 20 years before his birth are addded. I did not add them to him.
I come out of his details and find a duplicate child added to both parents so delete the first one and amend the notes. Add new census record to the child and find another duplicate created Try to come out and now there are 2 duplicates added just to the father and it is trying to download something and has been frozen 10 minutes.
Arrrgh.

I am still trying to add one person to my tree,
Yesterday the same person ended up being duplicated several times over.
Sometimes attached just to the mother or just the father and then looped into being married to the mother,
Just managed to delete them and and them again.
First thing I notice when I add the partner is that auto fill has given him his wife's middle name,
Then it has added her place of birth.
If that is not spotted it will lead to all sorts of errors.
When I have added his details and saved it I come out and his wife and has disappeared. I can only see him on his own.
Fiddle around a bit then find him apparently married to me!!!!
Deleted again. :-|

Details missing from my tree that were there before. I have sent feedback, everytime I add something to my grandmother's details and save, they end up in mine :-| :-|

If it helps anyone to know, there are still problems with IE, I tried to add a photo last night and names just to test using IE, they do show but only when I use google chrome.

I just tried adding some new people to my Chart.
Using Firefox rather than my prefferred IE8

This is what I have discovered:

I added the individual OK but then wanted to add additional details such as birthplace and Middle Name so clicked on the Right Tab to bring up the details.
BIG MISTAKE
I got rubbish and ended up with 3 versions in trying to edit out the errors.

What I have found is that you need to go through Edit, Edit More Details to make the changes.
I did try sending feedback from the tree but that failed so have sent a message to Support..

Looks like we are stuck with it whether we like it or not.

I just hope they can get the problems sorted out quickly.

Well my guy that I deleted this morning has reappeared in triplicate.

Deleted two of them and clicked on the third to check what I was left with. It now says downloading relation again.

It did that last night, After 3 hours of waiting for it to down load whatever it wanted to I abandoned it.

So much for me having 2 days of work to work on my family tree.

I added 2 partners to one person...........the first wife now shows as not only being married to Thomas but also to his brother Edward..........now when I click on Edward he is showing as being married to Thomas as well.............I am giving up and if this is not sorted out soon will certainly not be renewing my membership.
