(John, have added the Baptisms of Stephen and Robert Nunn, Wood Ditton up above, it was just seeing another Tree member having Stephen Nunn born Wickhambrook, and yours there saying Wood Ditton, that made me wonder, lol)

Maybe Shelly can see the Baptism...

And sadly, Hannah Hockley died just five days after Samual....

So Robert and Mary on 1911 (posted earlier) in Yorkshire are your couple?, are you now looking for their Deaths?...

John

John Report 8 Oct 2011 18:51

Cheers Chris,
The Stigwoods are correct, - I have Robert, married Hannah Stigwood, she died in 1835 and Rob re-married to a Ann WEBB, ending with three children. {He also had one son with Hannah], but you have given me a good date for his death, 1848 [I was a mile out with 1886], his last son was born in 1847..
As for Robert and Mary, I have them in North Ormesby, but only a guess at their date of Death, if you can find them Chris, I'd be very grateful...

(not sure if you have John, Susan and family 1861, but they are above, was annoying me that I couldn't see them the other night on FMP, above from Anc., lol)

Having googled round on Robert and Mary A (Hockley) came across a Rootsweb query regarding Wickhambrook Burials, someone has their Deaths as 1928 and 1925 and seems to think they are in Wickhambrook...(not sure when Shelly's Burials end, but on FMP they go from 1750 - 1902, shame!. (would be the below, not sure what you think, otherwise would they have been Ormesby area?, not one I'm familiar with, lol)

Deaths Mar 1928 (>99%)
Nunn Robert 76 Risbridge 4a 1051

Deaths Mar 1925 (>99%)
Nunn Mary A 81 Risbridge 4a 980

(for more Births, Marriages Burials, FMP Parish Records Collection, covers Wood Ditton and Wickhambrook, if you have any other names there)

Chris :)

edits (am sure you know, but did you see from 1911 image, says they had 4 children, 1 died?)

John

John Report 9 Oct 2011 09:55

Many thanks Chris.. The dates are very much the same as the ones I have. it did clarify Mary A death as 1925. {I had 1928c] as a guess....
I didn't know that in the 1911 census that Robert and Mary Ann had FOUR children.. I've only taken the three which I know, so that's a new one Chris..[Any name].....

Going thru the Tree last night, I came across quite a problem !!!
Benjamin Clements Nunn married Ann Webb in 1846. Noticed that Robert Nunn who married Hannah Stigwood in 1834, the on her death, married a -"ANN WEBB' in 1842

John

John Report 9 Oct 2011 09:58

Pressed the wrong key again Chris......... Hannah Stigwood died in 1835, Just seems a coincidence these two Ann Webbs. Had a look around on BMD etc., can't find this marriage of Robert Nunn and Ann Webb in 1842.

NUNN Robert Newmarket 14 141
WEBB Ann Newmarket 14 141

(sorry John, 1911 doesn't give names of deceased children unless the Head of Household has named them, not on this image I'm afraid)

Chris :)
