I don't know if the local register office will deal with telephone calls, but when I was searching for a missing death in Wales, I phoned Bridgend office, as I thought it should be in their area, gave which information I knew to be fact and the staff couldn't have been more helpful |

Sorry not to get straight back folks,starting to cook dinner! John's death was registered in Castle Ward in 1853. At the time he was a farmer and innkeeper in Coxlodg.e Elizabeth ran the pub The Turf Hotel for a few more years at least until 1885 then it was was sold. Lost track of her then and cannot find her in the 1861 census but that was the family in 1851. |
