dear jax, you are right about the marriage of john driver to ada maria pearson it took place at trinity church which u sed to be in trinity square nottingham, I believe it was demolished in the 1950s the date was jan;5th 1855 I have sent an e/ male to dorothy teresa, but as yet have not had a reply. regards lawrenc e |

hi margee, I may be able to help you ref; the father of john driver, his name was george driver, a ship builder,but I cant; find out anything more, john driver full name john frederick driver, was my great grandfather also, I have been searching for more information for over 10 years or more, so what a surprise. lawrence |

So Ken is right. WIN short for West Indies, British Subject because parents were Brits. |

On Ancestry they often seem to use WIN B S on the transcript even though it says West Indies on the image. |

Is that written in the place of birth column and are you sure of the word Win? Any that I have seen have place of birth and then British Subject. |
