I swear a while ago when I started researching family history that you could research some of the less recent census and view the info without paying a fee, is there anywhere that you can do that still? |

Only the 1881 census is free to view Pippa, do you need help with a search? |

I have posted the 1891 1901 and 1911 for you. The 1911 census is the most recent you can view.........you have to wait another 10 years for the next one! |

I think most of them made it up!! It happens all the time you can not rely on a birthplace being the one given in the census. |

My GGran always said her family were gypsies, perhaps this explains all the moving around every ten years?! lol |
