What a plonker.

Brings to mind a line in Blackadder when Baldrick said he thought for years his second name was Off. When BA asked him why that was he replied that all the kids at school used to call him S** O** Baldrick.....!

I wish the person was doing a one-name study of my maiden name. I wonder what he would have to say to people who have my sister m to a man b in 1723 when they have her father b in 1899? But then the person you mention is probably innumerate like the couple of hundred people who have my sister in their trees. They dont want to know about the error.

Don't take any notice, the guys an idiot, he has no right to criticise what you do with your tree. Block him and let him get on with his sad little life.

When something is mis transcribed on Ancestry, even after you´ve submitted a correction it still downloads incorrectly on to your tree, which is what had happened in my case.
I just hadn´t had chance to go through and correct it & now, being b****y minded, I have left it exactly as it appears on Ancestry.
