The info. you gave me was invaluable re. william walker but does that mean that his real name was webb and that clara had him out of wedlock. If so do you think he was adopted by joseph walker or just took on his stepdads name. |

Many thanks for all your help but the reason i believe he may have lived in walsall was because he had a large number of siblings and as they all live there. The siblings maybe alfred, anne george,edith,amy,harry,ada, horace, this info was given by my mom and her memory wasnt 100% at the time. |

Sorry but its my first time using this site and i didnt put the info down correctly, i have a marriage certificate for them but the dates dont match it states both of them were 20 when they got wed but she was in fact 26. I have tried everywhere to find Williams date of birth including trying for his army number from South Staffs regiment, On the marr. cert he was based at the South Raglan Barracks, They got married in Plymouth. |
