I agree 10 would be quite unusual to be recorded as a worker, though my great-grandfather was down as a carriage lamp maker in 1871 aged 12. |

William martin ( ann`s first husband) must of died before 1851 so why would levi change his name to martin also in 1871 levi preston is at school and on levi martin`s marriage cert there`s an x ( his mark is written by it) so he couldnt read or write ( probably because he went to work so young. |
