The tips were designed for use on the site http://fmpbsol.1911census.co.uk

That site was the first to put the 1911 England and Wales census on the net, well before the other sites that you mention.

In my humble opinion it still offers the best search facility amongst those sites who now offer access to that census. Although I now have access to the census via FMP and Ancestry I still tend to use the1911census.co.uk site when I am struggling to find someone on the 1911 census.

Researching:
