from the 1881 Osborne was sidney's son (though he may have had a brother Osborne as well) |

p.s and just to add to the confusion ii have sydney the son(1877) and then sydney the father born 1851. Its the father I cannot find? in the records. only 1901 when he was 50?, |

As Sydney b 1851 was illegitimate (see baptism record above) and the priest did not mention his father I think that will be one of the great unknowns! |

the spellings often vary depending on who was writing them down as education was limited so he could be either Sydney or Sidney on any of the records |

hey!! i found my sidney.. yes the name was spelt wrong and he had moved at the age of 20 to be as stone masion apprentice. In 1901 he was a stone mason so its a good link :) thank you so much for the tips.. |

oooooooooo the plot is thickerning.. the link you sent me.. i cant seem to get anything coming up for roberts? am i doing something wrong?? I though the dates of the children were spread apart!! I though must have been more, They normaly had 1 a year. They also had twins :)) |
