My gt grandfather was always called Edwin, but his b cert has him as Edward, so dont get too hung up on that difference. |

Quite possible, I think - I find Edward and Edwin get misheard and written down incorrectly quite often. Perhaps whoever gave the information mumbled or it was copied out with a mistake because someone else didn't hear properly? |
