Well I have now given up on ever finding the death of my g/grandfather I think if I was rich and bought every death certificate of his name I still would not have right one. I had a check done at the local office where he lived NOTHING and I can't see one that fits. It would give me so much pleasure to find it. |

Why not post details - there are some magicians here who can find the unfindable. Worth a try. |

I have exactly the same problem, my gt gt grandparents married, had 2 children, then a couple of years later gmother remarries, but I have been unable to find a death recorded for grandfather, these were poor people so divorce seems unlikely. If he didn't die and just ran away, that would be strange also, as they married, lived and remarried in the same village, someone would have known that she was still married, this was 1878, frustrating isn't it. |

Hi Janet yes I have looked at that one and wondered also he might have died out of the district. As the others say perhaps he was not the father of Albert I do not know just that William was down as the father. Hello Astra yes that is William baptism |

I've tracked down a relative who died 20 miles out of area in 1944. She was taken to a hospital which had been sponsered by a rich family who her husband had once worked for. I can only presume that this was a chance for a second opinion or perhaps better care in her dying days due to the family connexion. |

Hi Margaret yes I have both Kate and Emma in the 1891 census Emma working in Hackney and Kate working in Edmonton. I just can't think there could not have been a death certifictae for him . I have the family in the 1901 census and have found them all in the 1911 census. William Poole was born in Havehill in 1831 and married Emma Maria Ranson in 1871 Emma was born in Sudbury Suffolk. than you |
