Wendy, when you go to the Virtual War Memorial site, there is a photo of the newspaper clipping announcing the death of Harry B. with a photograph of him. |

Yes, Evie, I never neglect to click on that option on the Vitual War Memorial site. Sometimes there'a wealth of information there, depending on who submitted. |

Hi, I have just been following everything up, I have found the clipping with the picture, also the enlistment records for Harry and his brother, I was wondering whether the pictures were submitted or collected by the war memorial and you have answered that already, It has been a fascinating day, within 4 hours I have been given so much information which has opened up a whole new side, its great that people like yourselves, Richard, Evie and Margaret are out there helping people along, all this would have taken me months at least to find, this has got to be the most useful way to help people, and what goes around comes around , maybe I will be able to help someone in a similar way , thank you all so much |

Me too. ;) I may be guessing wrong about the info at the Virtual War Memorial, since the staff do extensive research for the site, but they'll let you know. |

I always assumed that it was family members who submitted the photos, Evie, but then I could be wrong too. It's been known to happen! However they do ask for submissions of photos. |
