Hi I wonder if anyone can help, I have been stuck on this track for a few years then did my regular look at community today and spotted some one asking for Canada help, I never even thought of it, anyway I have read all the replies and tried out the suggested webs but am not much further, I am looking for George Brash, engineer born 1860 Dundee m Dundee 1886 to Isabella [b 1867 Perth] then they disappear, found them on a ship from canada to glasgow in 1929 but no deaths in scotland, so they were maybe just visiting, possibly from Ontario or Montreal, I've checked pier 21 web but dates are too early, and the free Canada census but its maybe not fully transcribed yet as they are not on there, looking for any children or any information. when they arrived back in glasgow 1929 it stated that they intended to live in another country ie not scotland, but could this mean going back to Canada, any ideas would help, thanks, you have all been helpful in the past to everyone, so fingers crossed ! |

thanks again Richard, I had found them on the Letitia in June 1929 arriving in Glasgow, never thought to check their return , but i think that confirms that it was just a visit, which puts them back in Canada, |
