I went along and bought credits for the 1911 census feeling all warm and cosy and oh dear- all i get is no match no match. I bought 280 units and still have 240 left. It looks like all places I need are not yet online ( OK I am scottish and I know mine wont be there for a couple years yet but other half is english but no match seems to be common answer- so I am rather fed up- every message I read went OH WOW but I am more OH DEAR. |

Bit late to say now but I have done all the searching first and wrote down the ones I am sure off before I would pay out to see the census page. |

First name searches would be great, though I would settle for wild cards which would also be of enormous help. |

Make sure you clear the search (not just delete) form before each search as it seemed to cause probs if not! |

Just to say that if you buy 280 units, they are valid for 365 days.............. |

I have had a few pm's asking for the instructions for the search method. It is one I used that helped me and I was just passing on the tip to help others. Of course it is not 100% but has helped me a lot finding my ancestors in the 1911 census and perhaps not waste a lot of credits on wrong searches. |

I emailed FMY to ask about being able to search under the sex of a person and this is the reply I received:- |

Cost is far too high, needs to come down to a half, preferably a third. |
