I'm looking for the Staceys of Cannington. Mary Ann Stacey (born in 1829 in Cannington) married William Jones of Shapwick and then they lived in Stogursey and there were other connections in Fiddington and Nether Stowey, amongst others. Having looked through the very complete transcribed baptism records for the region, there seem to be loads of Staceys scattered around, far more than you might imagine unless many of them are related in some way. This is a task to come back to but if anyone knows about the Stacey gang please let me know.
