Hi Mike,
You had been trying to find a marriage for a Henry Harley and Ann (maybe Street) in or around Buckminster or Melton Mowbray , c 1780's ......
I had been doing some "google" searches and found a marriage for a Henry Harley ( as requested in my previous thread. It reads... Henry Harley ,p, Buckminster and Ann Bunney marriage at Saxby 24 Dec 1787.. volume 3.. found this on Ancestry Parish and Probate records . Everythings fits perfectly with my info so far.. I did a further search on the IGI and found Ann Bunny and a 'Hen Havley' for the above marriage date, no wonder I could never find the thing, with a misspelling like that and no surname for the bride, so my info gathering is progressing slowly.
I know you are busy, but when you get a chance...
If possible would you be able to find any info on Ann Bunney of maybe Saxby, c 1767... there is nothing on the IGI that I could even start with.
Many thanks as always for your great work, I love reading all the messages on this thread..

I am looking for John Woollerton born 1825 marriage to an Ann in Wymeswold or perhaps Hoton, first child I have recorded is born in 1845 so around that time. Would like to know date of marriage and perhaps Ann's maiden name.
John Woollerton born around 1786 marriage to Elizabeth again in Wymeswold.
William and Sarah Limbert children baptisms from the year of 1772 in Wymeswold, Walton on The Wold and Burrow Upon Soar.
Thank you x

Hi Elaine
Neal is the correct spelling. So if you have more details of that christening, that would be super. Mind you I will have no way of knowing if it is the correct one, but it may help me on 'Family Search' etc.
Thanks again everyone is so helpful to us newbies.

Hi Elaine
That is very kind of you, problem is I have not got much to go on. He did not appear on any census, and think he died late 1849/1851. His wife Emily born in Leicester approx 1806 so assume he may be similar age or slighly older. Married in Leicester in 1828. He was a tailor. That is about all I know.
The main problem is that their name goes down as Neal/Neale/Neall and James is a common christian name too.

Thanks so much Mike. So it would seem James Neall/Neale/Neal lived in Nottingham before his marriage to Emily Foster. So maybe he was not a Leicester Lad at all.
Regarding Head of Household not including people that worked for him because of not declaring their income etc. Silly people like me had not thought that sort of thing went on !!! The trouble is it makes a mockery of the census, and more to the point makes it hard work for genealogists.
Anyway thanks again. You have made me glad I joined Genes Reunited.

Mike,
Difficult choice - 60 Beavers or a trip down memory lane in the company of like minded adults........
Thinking about it.........
After lots of careful thought, couldn't deprive you of the pleasure of district sleepover - tho why they call it a sleepover heaven knows!! If Beavers are anything like Rangers you'll need a kip when you get home!!
Have fun!!
