Neiven may not be Elizabeths maiden name. A lot of my scots female relatives used their own maiden names after they were married so it may be Jain's maiden name. |

that sounds about right mary thanks,my dad died in 1996 and my brother wont tell me anything,he has my fathers birth and death certificate,thats why i am struggling to get information,my brother doesn't like to share family information from my fathers side dont know why. |

Katrina did you grandparents die in Scotland? If they did their death certs will give their ages & also will show their parents names. |

ok i'm sorry reg,my grandparents were john muir and sarah queen both from around the hamilton area of glasgow,they must have got married about 1920's,they had three sons all born glasgow,Ian muir,Brian and james muir brian muir was my dad born 1942 in glasgow and worked as a docker as did my grandad,thats all i know i'm afraid. |
