just had a look at www.family search site.not too sure how to use it,typed in linstedt then linstead but wasnt sure how to narrow it all down,will look on there when its quiet in doors and kids are in bed ,ill look on here til then,need to get my bearings when i look on a new site,maxine |

Maxine, I think it was quite common for people to anglicize their German sounding names during the war years. Even the royal family did it, changing the German sounding Battenburg to Mountbatten. |

found these on the 1880 Census might be worth a look on following Census to see if they are yours - sorry I don't have ancestry. |

maybe somebody could be so kind as to do a lookup on the 1891 and 1901 Census for you I must admit it was the Eugene bit that caught my attention. They are on the 1901 but I can't bring up the full details. |
