Hello vivienne, just thought i would let you know that i recieved my g.fathers marriage cert,.You was correct with the information that you so kindly gave me.He married Jane slaughter on the 29/9/01 in kensington. The cert, also gives the name of my g.g.father Charles white(deceased) I have had no luck trying to trace him or his wife.,but i have been able to trace janes parents and siblings.Cannot find g.dads birth entry in 1880 at shadwell(tried1881 also)Do believe that shadwell comes under Woolwich Kent?.Sorry that it has been so long contacting you,but this computer as had six viruses(whatever they maybe)Just hope that it was not swine flu.thanks for pointing me in the right direction Robert. |
